The date of the next Day Fever disco at Nottingham’s Rock City has been confirmed.

Last Saturday (April 20) saw the biggest Day Fever to-date held at the iconic Nottingham venue, with around 1,800 over 30s partying the afternoon away.

After the city’s first Day Fever disco at Stealth nightclub sold-out within minutes, co-founder Jonny Owen immediately started looking for a bigger venue.

In late February it was confirmed that Rock City would become Day Fever’s “new home” in Nottingham, with one event scheduled each month.

Having been founded by Owen and wife Vicky McClure at the end of last year, Day Fever’s popularity has soared over the past few months, with events selling out across the country.

The daytime discos are aimed at those over 30 who want to enjoy the feeling of a night out but without the late-night finish.

Speaking to Nottingham World earlier this month, Owen said: “I think once a month is probably enough for people of our age to go out clubbing!

“Nobody wants to do it once or twice a week like we used to, but once a month gives you something to really look forward to.”

The next Day Fever at Rock City will take place on Saturday, May 11, with ticketing information available here.
