Day Fever co-founder Jonny Owen admits he considered buying Nottingham PRYZM nightclub
Nottingham’s PRYZM nightclub closed earlier this month, but could a Day Fever revival be on the cards?
The much-anticipated Day Fever event at Nottingham’s famous Rock City sold out within 20 minutes last night - but don’t worry if you missed out this time.

Tickets for the event were snapped up by pre-sale buyers yesterday afternoon (Monday, February 26) as clubbers raced to secure their place at the biggest Day Fever to date.
Last Friday (February 23) it was confirmed that Rock City would become Day Fever’s “new home” from April, with monthly events planned.

The afternoon club events are aimed at over 30s who want to be home by 9pm.
Day Fever’s popularity has soared since its inaugural event in January, with tickets for all dates selling out.
With the first Rock City date now sold out, there have been calls for Day Fever to establish a permanent base in Nottingham, where demand for tickets has been the highest.
Plenty of clubbers have suggested a Day Fever residency at the former PRYZM nightclub, which closed earlier this month.
So, what better way find out whether this could be a possibility than to ask Day Fever’s co-founder, Jonny Owen.
Speaking exclusively to Nottingham World, Owen admits his ears pricked up after hearing the news about PRYZM closing.

He said: “The rest of the boys at Day Fever laughed at me because I was like ‘let’s buy it!’.
“At the moment it’s very early days. Nothing breaks my heart more than pubs and nightclubs shutting down.
“As somebody who’s 52 and grew up in a generation where pubs and clubs were really important to us and part of our history, I hate it when places close down.
“So if we can support venues by being open during the day and being busy to keep them going, we’re very happy with that.
“If this helps venues then we’re delighted - everybody wins. People have a good time, meet and socialise and these venues are kept open.
“I’m a massive advocate for keeping pubs and clubs open, I think it’s really important.”
