Day Fever, which organises daytime club events designed specifically for the over 30s, will appear at Sheffield’s Rock N Roll Circus on August 30, 2025.

Also on the bill are rock band Reverend and the Makers, plus Libertines duo Pete Doherty and Carl Barat.

The event, held at Sheffield’s Don Valley Bowl, will also feature live circus performers.

What is Day Fever?

Day Fever events are aimed at over 30s who want the nightclub experience but without the getting-in at 3am element.

The popularity of Day Fever events has soared since the turn of the year, with dozens of dates selling-out across the country.

In March Day Fever held its first Nottingham disco at Stealth nightclub, which sold-out within minutes.

Since then the discos have been held at Rock City, although a special event will take place at the newly-reopened Palais on November 23.

Speaking to Nottingham World in February, just after the Rock City date was announced, Owen said: “Rock City is such an iconic venue and it’s famous right across the world.

“I’ve had mates emailing me in Wales saying that they’re coming to this one because Rock City is so well-known.”
