Behind-the-scenes photos have shown thousands of people dancing the afternoon away during Vicky McClure’s Day Fever disco at Rock City last weekend.
More than 1,800 people spent last Saturday afternoon (April 20) partying at the iconic Nottingham venue as Day Fever celebrated its biggest event to-date.

In late February it was confirmed that Rock City would become Day Fever’s “new home” in Nottingham, with one event scheduled each month.
Having been founded by McClure and husband Owen at the end of last year, Day Fever’s popularity has soared over the past few months, with events selling out across the country.
The daytime discos are aimed at those over 30 who want to enjoy the feeling of a night out but without the late-night finish.

Speaking to Nottingham World in February, just after the Rock City date was announced, Owen said: “Rock City is such an iconic venue and it’s famous right across the world.
“I’ve had mates emailing me in Wales saying that they’re coming to this one because Rock City is so well-known.”
Behind-the-scenes photos of the inaugural Rock City gig, kindly shared with Nottingham World by Jonny Owen, have shown the party well underway.
The next Day Fever event at Rock City will take place on Saturday, May 11.
