The Day Fever concept is the brainchild of actress Vicky McClure and her director husband Jonny Owen.

The pair wanted to create an event that allowed those over 30 to get their groove on but also be home in time for Match of the Day.

Line of Duty and Trigger Point star McClure shared some great photos from the event on her Instagram page, including a screenshot of her massive step count.

The star walked (and we presume danced) a whopping 19,023 steps which according to the internet is roughly 9 miles!

The post said: "Nottingham you showed people how to Day Disco!!! Thank you for such a great Day Fever see you at Rock City!!"

Earlier this year it was revealed that Day Fever will take up a monthly residence at Nottingham's iconic Rock City venue.

Tickets for the first Rock City event sold out in just 20 minutes, making it the biggest Day Fever to date.
