Legendary lady celebrates 80th birthday with surprise party at Vicky McClure's Day Fever
Irene Barber has shared her thoughts on Vicky McClure’s new daytime disco!
A woman has celebrated her 80th birthday at Vicky McClure’s Day Fever disco - after being told it was just bottomless brunch.

Irene Barber celebrated the milestone birthday by dancing the day away at Sheffield City Hall’s ballroom on Saturday, March 9.
Irene’s surprise was organised by her niece Emma, who told her aunt that the event was simply a bottomless brunch.
She said: "We did this as a surprise for her 80th birthday, she loves dancing so we went to bottomless brunch before.
"It was hard to decide what to do but this is fantastic - we couldn't have gone to bingo."
The Day Fever events were launched by Vicky McClure and her husband Jonny Owen late last year after they noticed a gap in the market for over 30s discos.
They have now held sold-out events across the country, with new cities added to the schedule each week.

Reacting to her first Day Fever experience, Irene said: "My beautiful niece organised this for me.
"I was so surprised when they told me I was going here as I thought it was just bottomless brunch.
"I can't wait to go in - I can't wait to hear all the music."
Day Fever events at Nottingham’s Stealth nightclub and Rock City sold out within hours.
Co-founder Owen previously confirmed plans for a monthly residency at Rock City if demand was sufficient.
