Grace Gentle: The cute Newark shop with an absolutely giant Jellycat collection

Jellycats, adorably silly cuddly toys, are the latest craze to take the internet by storm.

They come in all shapes and sizes (quite literally) from vegetables to baked goods, hearts, stars, and your favourite animals.

Made with ultra-soft material and each boasting a funny little face, it is unsurprising that these cute plushies have such an extensive fan base.

So given their popularity, you’d assume you’d be able to pick them up in most shops right? Wrong.

In-store, Jellycat selections are actually quite a rare find, which is why I lost my mind when I discovered a giant collection of them, just a short drive from Nottingham.

Grace Gentle is a lovely interior and homeware store in Newark-upon-Trent, around 35 minutes from the city centre.

The shop sells all manner of cute home accessories and gifts, that are also available to purchase online.

But perhaps one of its biggest draws is its giant collection of adorable Jellycats - a video of which popped up on my TikTok timeline earlier today. Watch it here.

The video, showcasing its new delivery of JCs (Jellycats) has amassed more than 400,000 views on the platform.

It shows shelves stacked with sweet Jellycat plushies from asparagus to moons, bunnies and more!

During the video, the shop’s owner, Denise, shows off the new summer collection - including the much-lauded Amusable Sandcastle, which has already sold out online.

A cuddly ice-cream, gelato, and scuba diving egg also feature as part of the summer range.

The store is run by mum of three, Denise, and is named after her Grandmother Grace Gentle. Found in the heart of Newark-upon-Trent, the pretty shop isn’t to be missed.

It sells a lot more than just Jellycats, stocking stunning homeware, lighting and gifts too.
