I am a Digital Content Curator for National World and I create Google Showcase Panels from news stories we publish every day across our network of titles, and optimise them for Google’s Showcase platform. I also create content for a variety of sites across the UK, including Yorkshire Evening Post, LondonWorld and ManchesterWorld. I write a mix of national and regional content and enjoy creating content about what I’m most passionate about, which is Television, Film, Music, and Lifestyle.
I have a BSc in Digital Media Production from Coventry University, and an MA in Global Media Production, from Birmingham City University. After my education, I worked across websites, social media, TV, online video and events. I have produced content in many forms, from writing online content, like blogs and articles, to filming and editing video content, for publication and promotional purposes.
I have worked at various production companies, including the BBC, where I worked as a Digital Content Assistant, for the BBC Academy. I also worked within the production side of TV, where I helped to create a variety of shows, including, the reality series, Married at first sight UK (Channel4) and the observational documentary series, Bizarre ER (E4).
In my spare time, I really enjoy watching movies and TV series from the thriller, fantasy, and horror genre, some favourites include, Alice in Borderland, Star Wars, and most Marvel movies. I can also be found playing video games on my Nintendo Switch, or Playstation, and listening to my favourite band, Incubus.
