Red Arrows displays 2024: Where to see iconic red jets near Nottingham

Despite the joys of Christmas and New Year, many of us feel a bit less optimistic about things during the winter months. 

As a result, it’s worth keeping in mind a few things that you’ve got to look forward to once the weather improves. 

Air shows are a key part of summertime culture here in the UK and thousands of people across the country will already be counting down the days until they return in 2024.

No air show worth its salt would be complete without an appearance from the iconic Red Arrows. 

Formed in 1964, the Red Arrows have been a mainstay at UK air festivals for decades and appeared at 40 events across the country in 2023. 

Based at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, the aerobatics team is set to wow crowds once again in 2024. 

Sadly there aren’t any air shows in Nottingham, but our position in the centre of the country means that other events are just a short drive away. 

Below we’ve rounded up a few places within a couple of hours of Nottingham where you can catch the Red Arrows in action next summer. 

Midlands Air Festival
