Day Fever, the daytime disco series co-founded by Vicky McClure and her husband Jonny Owen, marks its one-year anniversary this month.

Designed for attendees aged 30 and over, Day Fever offers an energetic dance club experience with a unique twist - events happen in the afternoon, so partygoers can enjoy the music without sacrificing an early night.

The concept launched in late 2023 and has quickly grown in popularity, with events consistently selling out across the UK.

Nottingham, Vicky’s hometown, has been a key hub for the initiative, with Rock City becoming its "new home" earlier this year.

The events have been a hit with attendees, often featuring up to 1,800 participants dancing the day away in an inclusive and vibrant atmosphere.

The famous couple appeared on Good Morning Britain to talk about the event’s one year anniversary.

Jonny, producer, actor and writer who has appeared in TV shows including Shameless, Murphy's Law and My Family, said: “Thanks for all the kind words and asking about Day Fever. There are some tickets left. NYE have been released. If you simply search for Day Fever on the internet it will take you to tickets. See you there!”

The couple tied the knot in 2023, and are both synonymous with Nottingham for different reasons.
