If you did a survey asking Nottingham residents for their favourite local celebrity, the majority would probably pick Vicky McClure.
The 41-year-old actor, most famous for her roles in Line of Duty and This Is England, is as Nottingham as they come.
Born and raised in Wollaton, Vicky has always stayed true to her roots and has proven to be a valuable ambassador to her home city over recent years.
Whether it be through her amazing work with the Our Dementia Choir or by hosting sell-out Day Fever discos at Rock City, Vicky has always flown the flag for Nottingham.
We’ve picked out seven places in Nottingham that have helped to shape Vicky’s life and career.
