We love to champion our local area (and although we might be biased), we really can't think of anywhere better to live than Nottingham.

With a rich history, excellent transport links across the UK, and top sports teams, we couldn't ask for anything more from our hometown.

That said, living smack bang in the city centre isn't for everyone, especially those seeking a touch of tranquillity.

That's why we're shedding some light on the lovely places to live - outside of the city.

But today we're taking a look at the lovely village of Lowdham, which can be found around 30 mins from the main city.
