The guide has crunched data regarding more than 1,400 towns, cities and villages across England and Wales to summarise the best (and worst) places to live in 2024.

The objective, impartial guide is based on publicly available data concerning factors such as schools, employment, and house prices.

This year, the picture-postcard Berkshire village of Twyford has been crowned as the best place to live in England and Wales.
