“Nottingham is extremely close to our hearts at E.ON; thousands of our colleagues live in and around the city and many more of our customers live and work here too.”

The recruitment drive comes after E.ON revealed in March it would hire a total of 1,300 staff across the business nationwide.

E.ON Next is part of the E.ON Group, but is an energy supplier focused on renewable energy.

Jobs available include energy specialists looking after residential and small business customers, roles focused on acquiring new customers and specialists in areas such as pre-payment and pay-as-you-go.

Staff will be based at E.ON’s Trinity House office on Burton Street in Nottingham city centre, with full-time, part-time, job share, hybrid and home-based roles available.

E.ON said it has been named one of the UK’s top 50 inclusive employers for six years running and is “delighted” to support Nottingham Pride celebrations.

Ramona Vlasiu, chief operating officer at E.ON Next, added: “If you think you could be a good fit and want to join an already diverse group of talented people who are committed to caring for our customers, we’d love to hear from you.”

An E.ON Next stand will be available in Hockley between 11am and 3pm during Nottingham’s Pride celebrations on Saturday July 29.
