35 fantastic photos of Splendour Festival 2023: Can you spot yourself or your mates?

Thousands of festival goers braved the weather, at Splendour Festival which took place on Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23 at Wollaton Park

While everyone was hoping for a bit of summer sun for this year’s event, sadly, the weather had other ideas. We visited Splendour Festival all weekend as attendees donned rain macs, ponchos and carried umbrellas to stay dry. Wellies were mandatory for both days sadly as Sunday started out well before it began raining around 5pm.

The ground became a bit of a muddy puddle as visitors splashed around in the sodden grass. Despite this, festival fans were determined to have some fun - rain or shine.

The festival, which took place from Saturday, July 22 to Sunday, July 23, was headlined by Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Madness with performances from acts including Rudimental, Sugababes, The Vaccines, and The Kooks.

Splendour Festival is one of the largest held in Nottingham and this year will mark its 15th year since it began. Last year saw over 23,000 people attend the festival each day. The event has become one of the highlights of the summer season.

Can you spot yourself or a friend in our gallery from the weekend?
