The team behind the event hope that people join them in the streets of Sneinton to celebrate the town’s music, art and vibrant culture following a number of community consultation meetings that were held

Event Coordinator, Rebecca McGlone, said: “We’re really excited to be bringing the Sneinton Festival back.

“We’ve some great workshops and performances for people to enjoy, including STEM workshops from Nottingham Trent University, live talks from Penney Poyzer, DJ sets from Soul Buggin’ and acoustic music from Sneinton girl Alice Lynn to name but a few.”

Starting at Edale Rise, the festival will snake through the vibrant streets of Sneinton and finish at Green’s Windmill for an afternoon of festivities.

Rebecca added: “We would also like to thank The Renewal Trust, The National Lottery Community Fund, A.W.Lymns and the Dale Ward councillors for funding the event.

“Without this funding the festival wouldn’t be able to happen and we’ve pulled together a lovely wholesome event, that we hope our community will enjoy, and that we can grow, year on year.

The event is free and therefore open to all to come and enjoy on the day.
