Netherfield Pride 2023: What’s on, when and the weather forecast is set to be

Netherfield Pride is back for the second year with a variety of LGBTQ+-friendly activities running from 18 - 20 August. The event comes shortly after Nottingham Pride had a record 10,000 attendees last month.
There are multiple events taking place over the weekend including silent discos, comedy and market stalls. Events range from £3 to £8 however the main pride event is free to attend.

Aside from the main event, there are multiple ways to get involved with Netherfield Pride with events spanning the whole weekend.
On August 18, Netherfield Pride is hosting its first pre-pride party to kick off the celebrations. The party will be a silent disco with a live DJ, listed as ‘bring your own bottle’ and will run from 7pm to 10:30pm at Connect @ Netherfield on Victoria Road. Tickets for the pre-party cost £5.
The main pride event will take place on August 19 and is free to attend. Live music, stalls and drag performances will run throughout the day from 10am to 4pm.
Silent discos for young people will run throughout the day at St Georges’ Centre, with under 10s able to take part from 10am to 12pm and 10-16-year-olds from 2pm to 4pm. Participation in the children’s silent disco costs £3.

Hide AdOn the evening of August 19, a comedy night presented by Late Stage Comedy is taking place at TBH Bootcamps from 7pm to 10pm. Performances from comedians including Rob Coleman, Josh Reynolds and Fran Jenkins are set to take place. Tickets for the comedy night cost £8.
An LGBTQ+ swap shop will take place at Connect @ Netherfield on Victoria Road on 20 August. It costs £3 to take part and provides a safe space for everyone to exchange clothing, books and more.
To wrap up the celebrations a community sober silent disco for anyone over the age of 16 is taking place at Connect @ Netherfield from 6pm to 9pm, with tickets priced at £5.
What will the weather be like?
While the majority of Netherfield Pride will be taking place indoors, the main pride event on Saturday is an outdoor event.
