Dot to Dot Festival: The 7 local musicians in with a chance of headlining at Nottingham's iconic Rock City
The shortlist for a competition to open the Dot To Dot Festival at Nottingham’s iconic Rock City has been announced.
Future Sound of Nottingham (FSN), is being run by local music organisation Nusic, who aim to help budding Notts artists launch their careers.

Hide AdPrevious FSN winners have opened the main stage at Nottingham Splendour Festival, but with the event taking a break this year the chosen musician will instead get to open the Dot To Dot Festival on May 26.
Each finalist will get the chance to have their music listened to by five music industry professionals, who will not only decide the winner, but also give precise, positive, and constructive feedback.
After organisers received hundreds of entries, the final seven artists are as follows:

Hide AdLaunched in 2005, the Dot to Dot Festival sees artists play in Nottingham, Bristol and Manchester over the course of a weekend.
Previous festivals have helped to launch the careers of musicians such as Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi.
The winning artist will be announced on Nusic’s Instagram page.
