Each winter, the grounds of Belvoir Castle are transformed into a blanket of white by thousands of snowdrops and other beautiful blooms.

Set against the backdrop of the historic 957-year-old castle, the snowdrop gardens are a photographer’s dream.

With spring just a few days away, visitors might also be able to spot daffodils and blossoming trees.

Since opening in 1067, Belvoir Castle has been home to the Duke of Rutland ever since.

A castle was first built on the site immediately after the Norman Conquest of 1066 and has since been rebuilt at least three times.

Tickets for access to the gardens are priced at £10 and can be purchased here.
