One of Nottingham’s popular markets has returned for its annual spring outing.
Ay Up Market on Old Market Square opened today (Friday April 26, 2024) for a three-day event that is free to attend.
In its third year, the market platforms local creatives and independent retailers by giving them prime position to trade from a central location in the city.
Over 60 stalls are set to offer bespoke and artisan gifts for shoppers over the coming days.
A wide range of products can be found including fresh brownies, loaded cookies, fine wine, chocolate liquors, vintage clothing, homeware, bespoke jewellery, pet accessories and more.
It is more than just a great shopping experience; street food served hot from carts is available to keep hungry shoppers happy.
People can also enjoy live music from the large bandstand under the marquee.
Family-friendly activities include hook-a-duck game, face painting, plus creative workshops meaning there is something for everyone.
Nottingham World visited Ay Up Market, here are a few photos from the event. Can you spot yourself?
The market will run from Friday April 26 - Sunday April 28.
Here are the opening times:
Friday 11am - 6pm
Saturday 10am - 6pm
Sunday 10am - 5pm
