It’s also difficult to constantly find new activities to keep your young ones engaged.
Thankfully Nottingham’s location in the centre country means that loads of fun days out are just a short drive away.

Hide AdTwinlakes Park, just north of Melton Mowbray, claims to be the East Midlands’ number one theme park.
Big talk, we know, but once you dig into what the park has to offer, it’s hard to disagree.

The 100 acre site offers classic rides including a log flume, pirate ship and sky flyer, alongside other activities such as ice skating and an express train.
Crucially, Twinlakes Park is all-weather, meaning your visit won’t be hampered by rain.

The park’s farm and falconry centre allows visitors to hold and even feed animals including alpacas, llamas and goats.
