It was a very tough selection process with many players standing out around the league in the opening months of what is shaping up to be a captivating season.
They all staked their claim, for various reasons, for a spot in my starting 11, and a good claim they had been too.
But, after much thought, I have narrowed it down to my final 11 and come up with this team, based on a 4-2-3-1 formation.
I think it’s a pretty good team, a team with defensive solidity, plenty of fair and a good smattering of goals. I think it’s one that would most likely be able to challenge for a promotion place.
Of course, ask 100 people to pick a side and 100 different teams would be chosen. You guys will no doubt think differently to how I am seeing it, but have a look at this eleven and let me know what you think.

9. Callum Paterson (MK Dons)
Paterson has featured in every game for MK Dons and has been impressive throughout. He has operated either in the hole or in the middle of a forward three and has already scored five goals and added four assists. Paterson is also highly versatile, adding extra value to his spot in any starting team. He's started at right-back in games this season and can also play as a midfielder. Photo: Getty Images

10. Stephen Duke-McKenna (Harrogate Town)
Duke-McKenna has been a shining light for a struggling Harrogate Town side this season. WIth five goals in 15 games the right-winger has shown what he can do and that he certainly has the ability to be in a team fighting it out at the top end of the table. Photo: Getty Images

11. Alassana Jatta (Notts County)
Alassana Jatta already has six goals despite a slightly disrupted season. His power, movevement and pace make him a constant threat, especially on the counter and when games get stretched. He is familiar with the lone striker role and one of League Two's very best in that position. Photo: Getty Images
