It was a very tough selection process with many players standing out around the league in the opening months of what is shaping up to be a captivating season.
They all staked their claim, for various reasons, for a spot in my starting 11, and a good claim they had been too.
But, after much thought, I have narrowed it down to my final 11 and come up with this team, based on a 4-2-3-1 formation.
I think it’s a pretty good team, a team with defensive solidity, plenty of fair and a good smattering of goals. I think it’s one that would most likely be able to challenge for a promotion place.
Of course, ask 100 people to pick a side and 100 different teams would be chosen. You guys will no doubt think differently to how I am seeing it, but have a look at this eleven and let me know what you think.

The experienced EFL defender has become 'Mr Dependable' in the Oldham left-back slot since making the summer switch from Forest Green Rovers. Robson has looked at ease throughout and payed a key role in helping Oldham adjust well to their return to EFL football. Photo: Getty Images

3. Jack Sanders (Milton Keynes Dons)
Sanders impressed after joining the Dons in the second half of last season and has taken that form into the current season. Sanders has looked a cut above in the centre of defence and certainly has what it takes to be a success in League One. Photo: Getty Images
