They say that a week is a long time in football, so it’s fair to say that a lot can happen in two whole years.
The past 24 months in Nottingham Forest’s history have been turbulent, to say the least.
In May 2022, Forest reached the top flight for the first time in 23 years after beating Huddersfield Town at Wembley.
In the two years since that day at Wembley, Forest have signed dozens of new players, changed their manager, and been hit by a points deduction.
With Nuno Espirito’s men positioned perilously above the drop zone as this season’s Premier League season reaches its conclusion, all of a Forest persuasion are hoping for another season of top-flight football.
In the Championship, the race for the play-offs is also hotting up as fans of promotion-chasing clubs start to dream of Wembley success.
