Who can forget an entire era devoted to slip dresses, flannel, and combat boots?
In the 1990s, Nottingham-born fashion designer Paul Smith was in his heyday, bringing sharp shirts and suit jackets to runways across the globe.
The British fashion designer, began his career here in Nottingham, in a single 3m x 3m store with no windows down an unassuming alleyway in town.
Over the years the designer went on to become an internationally renowned brand, featuring in GQ and on the bodies of some of the world's elite.
