When it comes to amazing ambassadors to Nottingham, Vicky McClure is right at the top of the tree.
The Wollaton-born actress, best known for roles in This Is England and Line of Duty, is always flying the flag for Nottingham wherever she goes.
From her work with the amazing Dementia Choir to surprise appearances at the Splendour and Gloworm festivals, Vicky has always stayed true to her roots.
Vicky made her acting debut in 1999 when she played the role of Nadine Brass in the Shane Meadows film A Room for Romeo Brass.
Between 2006 and 2015, Vicky teamed up with Meadows once again for the This is England film and mini-series.
A graduate of Nottingham’s famous Television Workshop, it’s fair to say that Vicky’s career has been forged here in the city.
