The airworthy bomber, Lancaster PA474, was built at the Vickers Armstrong Broughton factory at Hawarden Airfield, Chester, in May 1945.
While none of the displays on Sunday will take place in Nottingham, two are being held relatively close by.
With no guarantees as to how many more years the Lancaster will be permitted to continue flying, enthusiasts should jump at the chance to see the famous aircraft.
