Occupied by Wilko until the brand went into administration last year, the new Range store is set to create 90 jobs.

The Range currently has more than 200 stores across the UK, with each one selling an array of products, from homeware and furniture to DIY and art supplies.

The Range currently has stores in Nottingham, Radford and Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Leader of Ashfield District Council, councillor Jason Zadrozny, said: “I am delighted to be able to announce that The Range is set to open in Hucknall in March.
