The Heart at Ruddington: Beloved Nottinghamshire pub to reopen under new name after three-year closure
It will reopen following an “extensive refurbishment inside and out”
A beloved Nottinghamshire pub is to reopen later this year under new management.

The Red Heart, in Easthorpe Street, Ruddington, closed in late 2021 but is set to reopen over the coming months.
New landlord Jack Robson has renamed the pub The Heart at Ruddington, with the building currently undergoing extensive refurbishment inside and out.
In a Facebook post the pub’s new management said: “We are thrilled to announce the grand reopening of the all new The Heart at Ruddington, under new management, with an extensive refurbishment both inside and out that brings a fresh and vibrant atmosphere to the heart of the village.
“The new landlord, Jack Robson, and his great team bring years of experience in the hospitality industry and a passion for creating a great drinking and dining experience for friends and families alike.
“Our opening date will be announced soon when we will be hosting a special celebration with live music and fun for all.
“We look forward to welcoming old friends and new faces to The Heart at Ruddington and we’ll be inviting everyone to experience what we have to offer.”
The pub, which first opened in 1832, will be one of seven in Ruddington when it reopens.
