TES Schools Awards: Two Nottingham schools shortlisted for prestigious ‘Oscars of education’ awards
The winning schools will be announced at a ceremony in London on June 21
Two Nottinghamshire schools have been shortlisted for the prestigious TES Schools Awards.

The awards, dubbed the ‘Oscars of education’, celebrate the best of education in the UK, from Headteacher of the Year to Inclusive School of the Year.
The shortlist was compiled by a panel of judges, including school leaders and sector experts.
Both state and independent schools can be nominated for awards, from early years to secondary schools.
Trent College, in Derby Road, Long Eaton, has been nominated for Pupil Mental Health Initiative of the Year alongside seven other education institutions across the UK.
Meanwhile, the Hospital and Home Education Learning Centre, an education provider for children and young people with health needs, which has four sites across Nottingham, has been nominated for Specialist Provision School of the Year.
A total of 21 categories will be recognised during the award ceremony in London on June 21.
Jon Severs, Editor of Tes Magazine, said: “Congratulations to all the shortlisted entries - the standard was so high this year despite the challenges schools face.
“It is critical we celebrate excellence and share it widely so we can ensure that the fantastic work happening in education is properly recognised.”
