Children left “upset” after three men rob bicycle from boy in Clifton

Three men are wanted by police after an eight-year-old boy was robbed in Nottingham.

The boy was playing with his friend, aged 10, near Bradley Walk in Clifton when they were approached by three men on bicycles.

One of the men threatened the two boys before forcing a bicycle from the younger child’s hands and fleeing at around 5.10pm on April 16.

Officers have now released a CCTV image of three people from close to the scene of the robbery that they want to speak to.

Det Con Anabelle Lee, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This young victim and his friend were understandably upset by this incident and we are determined to track down those responsible.

“Targeting children to threaten and steal from them is totally unacceptable and if anyone has any information I’d urge them to get in touch with police immediately.”
