Nawaab Saab: Award-winning Nottingham restaurant explains reason behind temporary closure


A popular Nottingham restaurant will close later this month for a major renovation.
Indian restaurant Nawaab Saab, in Nuthall, will be closed between Monday, August 26 and Wednesday, August 28, for an “incredible transformation”.

Hide AdIt will reopen on Thursday, August 29, with guests invited to celebrate with a free drink.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant said: Get ready for an unforgettable experience!
“As we undergo an incredible transformation, we want to express our deep gratitude for the amazing journey of the past seven years.
We are thrilled to invite everyone to be a part of our new venture as we revamp our restaurant with some sensational changes. Brace yourself for the grand re-launch of Nawaab Saab!

Nawaab Saab has previously been named within TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards, while also being recognised as Outstanding Restaurant of the Year at the English Curry Awards in 2021.
It has an average five-star rating on TripAdvisor, making it among the highest-rated Indian restaurants in Nottinghamshire.
