Nottingham weather: Exactly how hot it could get in Nottingham this week as heat health alerts in place


Temperatures in Nottingham could reach 27C this week as the city basks in glorious sunshine.
Nottinghamshire, along with much of England, is currently under a four-day heat health alert which will remain in place until 5pm on Thursday (June 27).

Hide AdThe UK Health Security Agency, which issued the alert, warned of potential for "significant impacts" which could include an "observed increase in mortality across the population, particularly in the 65+ age group or those with health conditions, but impacts may also be seen in younger age groups”.
How hot could it get in Nottingham this week?
It’s likely that Nottingham’s hottest days will be felt today (Tuesday, June 25) and tomorrow (Wednesday, June 26).
According to BBC Weather, temperatures in the city could reach 27C this afternoon.

With temperatures remaining in the high teens overnight and into Wednesday, an uncomfortable night’s sleep appears to be on the cards.

Hide AdTomorrow is set to be another sweltering day, with temperatures once again predicted to reach at least 26C.
Thursday will see temperatures fall slightly to around 22C, before a cooler Friday and weekend.
