Members of the gym were informed of the closure in an email from Trib3. The email, which has been seen by Nottingham World stated: “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our Trib3 Nottingham studio. The studio will be closing its doors as of today 01.07.23.”

In our case, rising costs and continued financial pressure have made it increasingly difficult for us to continue operating in this location. We have explored various options and have had to make the difficult decision to close TRIB3 Nottingham’s doors.”
It continued: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and loyalty over the past year. It has been an honour to be a part of the Nottingham community. We will continue to cherish the memories we have made in this beautiful city.”
Customers were given no notice of the closure and while they can apply for refunds, some have also been told they can use the passes in Leeds or Sheffield.

“All memberships have been terminated and obviously no further payment will be taken,” the email continued.

We are proud of the team and the community we have built in Nottingham. Thank you for being part of the journey, for every burpee, press up and lunge; it’s been such a ride!”
The gym opened it’s doors in July last year as the franchise’s eighth location. The owners hoped to bring a new fitness experience to Nottingham choosing the former B.SPOKE cycling studio. It has been a difficult time for businesses after two years of Covid closures followed by a cost of living and energy crisis.
