Apollo 13 Booster Maxx: Huge 180ft, 80mph thrill ride to make debut at Nottingham Goose Fair
A huge 180 ft-tall thrill ride is set to attract thrill seekers at Nottingham’s Goose Fair for the first time later this month.
With top speeds of 80mph, the Apollo 13 Booster Maxx will make its debut at Goose Fair when the annual event begins on Friday, September 27.

Hide AdHaving previously starred in fairs across mainland Europe and the Middle East, the Apollo 13 ride made its first appearance in England over the summer in Newcastle.
The ride involves up to eight thrill-seekers at a time catapulted high into the sky before being rotated 360 degrees.
Apollo 13 is currently owned by showman John Thomas Bagnall Jnr, having previously been operated by Mellors Group.
Goose Fair will return between September 27 and October 6 for 10 days of fairground fun.

Hide AdWith more than 250 rides and attractions and thrills aplenty for all ages, Goose Fair is one of the largest travelling funfairs in Europe and has been staged annually in Nottingham since at least 1284.
Last year’s Goose Fair attracted more than 500,000 people to the Forest Recreation Ground, with £7.1 million spent by visitors.
