The new bakery will keep the current shop front as a nod to the heritage and history of the building and the surrounding Old Market Square conservation area.
Internally, fixtures will be sympathetically stripped back to expose the beautiful original brick wall facade and timber flooring.
The Nottingham bakery will sell Cornish Bakery’s range of delicious products, including its award-winning pasties, viennoiseries, cakes, bakes, and ethically sourced coffee.

Cornish Bakery Founder and Owner Steve Grocutt said: “We are delighted to open our newest Cornish Bakery in Nottingham.
He continued: “This is a strong East Midlands destination with a robust retail landscape and a thriving high street. We believe a bakery should be part of the community so our new team will be actively seeking opportunities to work with local organisations in the area including a designated charity partner which our bakery manager will select in due course.”
“I am confident our new Cornish Bakery will be the premium space and experience for both residents in, and visitors to, the city of Nottingham.
“Bakeries are the new coffee shops, and we are at the forefront of this. We’re looking forward to welcoming all into our beautiful newest bakery.”
