Good news as food hygiene ratings awarded to 16 Nottingham establishments

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 16 of Nottingham’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to eight restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: African Base Restaurant at Unit D Bar Lane Industrial Park, Bar Lane, Nottingham; rated on August 31

• Rated 5: Captain Ice at 357d Derby Road, Nottingham; rated on August 31

• Rated 5: Hungry Pumpkin Deli Cafe at 38 High Pavement, Nottingham; rated on August 29

• Rated 5: Mowgli at 1 Stoney Street, Nottingham; rated on August 29

• Rated 5: Cafe Zest Restaurant at 301 Victoria Centre, Nottingham; rated on August 25

• Rated 5: Kayal at 8 Broad Street, Nottingham; rated on August 25

• Rated 5: Nando's at 12 Angel Row, Nottingham; rated on August 25

• Rated 5: Deli-Cious Chocolate at The Robe Room at Shire Hall, High Pavement, Nottingham; rated on August 22
