Food hygiene ratings handed to 14 Nottingham establishments

A Food Standards Agency rating sticker on a window of a restaurant in central London. A huge variation in food hygiene standards remains across the UK, with one in five high or medium-risk food outlets failing to meet standards, according to a study.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 14 of Nottingham’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to eight restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Rumpoles Cafe at Crown Court, 60 Canal Street, Nottingham; rated on April 21

• Rated 5: Hip Hop Food Shop at 14a Long Row, Nottingham; rated on April 20

• Rated 5: Sushi Yoka at 8 Lincoln Street, City Centre; rated on April 20

• Rated 5: Oranos at 177-179 Alfreton Road, Nottingham; rated on April 19

• Rated 5: Saffron Persian Restaurant at 5-7 Bentinck Road, Nottingham; rated on April 19

• Rated 5: Rosa's Thai at 15-17 King Street, Nottingham; rated on April 18

• Rated 5: Kottaram at 28 Maid Marian Way, Nottingham; rated on April 17

• Rated 5: Munch Bites at 337 Nottingham Road, Nottingham; rated on April 17

Pubs, bars and nightclubs
