Broxtowe's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A52, from 8pm February 12 to 1am February 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A52 eastbound, Beeston, Lane closure due to works on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council.

A52, from 8pm February 15 to 6am February 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A52 westbound, Priory Island to Bramcote, Lane closures due to drainage works.

M1, from 8pm February 16 to 5am February 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 southbound, junction 26, Lane closures for safety repair works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
