Nottingham Winter Wonderland 2024: Opening date announced

The opening date for Nottingham’s Winter Wonderland has now been confirmed after months of anticipation.

This year’s event in Old Market Square will begin on Wednesday, November 13 - a week later than in 2023.

Last year’s Winter Wonderland saw Old Market Square transformed into a festive paradise for almost eight weeks, which was the longest in the event’s history.

While specific details are yet to be announced, visitors can once again expect to see an array of stalls and rides.

The annual event has become known for its huge observation wheel, which offers visitors panoramic views over the city centre.
