Nottingham events: Wizard of Oz-themed drone light show to light up skies above Nottingham in March

A “mesmerising” drone light show will be coming to Nottingham for one night only next month.
The magic of Oz will be coming to Nottingham on Saturday, March 15 and will light up the night sky above Trent Bridge.

Hide AdAudiences attending this brand-new show, performed by hundreds of illuminated drones, will be taken on a mesmerising journey alongside Dorothy and her friends to the magical land of Oz.
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: The Drone Light Show, is the latest show created by Celestial, in collaboration with Yuup with Trent Bridge acting as the host venue.

“The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is an epic drone storytelling spectacle, and we’re hugely proud to be bringing this UK tour to the people of Nottingham.
“While we can confidently expect calm skies in April, ourselves, Celestial and Yuup would like to reassure all new and returning visitors that if weather conditions mean the show cannot fly on the advertised date, all ticket holders will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to attend a reserve date.
“We look forward to welcoming the drone pilots, and all those watching their incredible work, back to Trent Bridge.”
Tickets are now on sale and are priced from £18 for children and concessions and £23 for adults.
