Nottingham's Winter Wonderland has been named as one of the UK's most 'Instagram-worthy' Christmas markets.

Event insurance specialists Protectivity analysed over 285,000 Instagram posts featuring location-specific hashtags for 56 UK Christmas markets.

These were then ranked to determine which Christmas markets are the most popular on Instagram and therefore 'Insta-worthy'.

The ranking comes just days after Nottingham was named one of the UK's most popular Christmas markets by Diamond Trailers. According to the data, there are more than 6,000 posts on Instagram featuring Nottingham's iconic Winter Wonderland - making it the ninth most Instagrammed Christmas market in the country.

Winter Wonderland opened in Old Market Square, Nottingham on 7th November and will run until December 31st. There are many photo opportunities including an ice bar, a big wheel, and stunning stalls selling a variety of trinkets and gifts.
