Binks Yard: The Nottingham bar serving up Sunday roasts with a side of live music
A Nottingham venue is aiming to cure your January blues with a new Sunday special. Binks Yard will be serving up delicious roasts with a side of live music every week.
The live 'Sound of Sundays' music performances will run from 1:30-4pm with acts spanning a range of genres including soul, Motown, swing and jazz.

Hide AdThe Sunday sessions will kick off this weekend (!4th January) with resident DJ Dan James, who will be playing an all-vinyl soul set.

Sound of Sundays line-up
Other upcoming 'Sound of Sundays' performances include jazz and swing singer Roger Bird on 21st January. He has been a favourite on Nottingham’s music scene for more than two decades, garnering praise from the likes of Ronnie Scott’s Barry Sherwin.
Meanwhile, on 28th January, powerhouse vocalist Evie Marlow will be serving up her captivating soulful renditions of top hits from the likes of Alicia Keys, Adele, Bonnie Raitt, and more.
John Whitehead, food, beverage , and events project director at Binks Yard said: “Roasts are always popular on Sunday but with winter now well and truly here, and the coldest days of January and February on the horizon, we know that people in Nottingham will be searching for new places to get their Sunday roast fix.

What's on the menu?
Binks lunches cost £25 for two courses or £28.50 for three. Sunday lunches are served with sharing sides including triple-cooked roast potatoes, honey-glazed carrots, seasonal buttered greens and Binks Yard's special gravy.
The kids can get involved too. Children aged ten years old and under can enjoy two courses for £12.50. Little ones can choose from beef, chicken or vegan roasts or classic favourites such as chicken strips – and a gooey chocolate brownie or ice cream to finish.
