Binks Yard reveals exciting summer of sounds calendar of events

Music lovers can expect a diverse, exciting line-up of festivals and performances taking place throughout the summer period into September. The venue has previously hosted the jazz weekend and is set to host a new Pride experience later this month.
Ben Hicklin, head of events at Binks Yard, said: “We’re so excited to bring Nottingham music lovers a broad range of events that will satisfy fans of all genres at Binks Yard this summer.”

Hide AdJuly will see the all-day summer soul party taking place and the Groovebox pride festival in celebration of the city’s LGBTQ+ community, DJ sets and dance festivals in August and the first Nottingham Jazz Festival in September.
Ben added: “Whether you’re a lover of Motown and Northern Soul classics, raving to some of the world’s best dance music or want to celebrate the city’s fantastic LGBTQ+ community by joining our Pride festivities, we’ve got you covered at Binks this summer.”
Tickets will be £30 with the headline acts including the likes of Hannah Wants, Matt Guy and Adrianna.
Ben said: “It’s set to be an action-packed few months, with lots to see and do, and something exciting on every weekend – the perfect way to celebrate the warmer months in style.”

Hide AdBinks Yard opened last year as part of the Island Quarter regeneration project as bar combined with fine dining and live music. The project will also see a mix of student and non-student accommodation along with food halls and street art displays once it is completed. The area has been a disused space consisting of open fields, abandoned historical factories and car parks.
