We stayed in a Penguin Caravan – super clean, modern, and really comfy – the perfect cosy base for all our adventures.

First off, you can't beat the location. The park is right on the beach, and what a beach it is! Huge stretches of sand and sea, so peaceful and unspoilt. It felt like our own little slice of the Suffolk coast, and we loved just strolling down whenever we fancied. The area around Kessingland is absolutely beautiful too – perfect for anyone who loves a bit of countryside mixed with their coastal vibes.

In the winter you could even spy seals and seal pups on the beach (but don’t approach).

Now, onto the entertainment – Parkdean really know how to keep families happy! The kids were obsessed with the activities.

The slime workshops were a huge hit – what kid doesn’t love making a glorious, gooey mess?! It was so well-organised too, and the team made it a brilliant, hands-on experience.

We also lucked out with the Easter Pool Party – the atmosphere was buzzing! Loads of inflatables, games, music, and even some cheeky prizes for the little ones. It made swimming even more exciting than usual.

But honestly, the real stars of the show were the Starland Krazy Crew. Every night, without fail, we were down at the clubhouse for the Starland Krazy Disco. The team’s energy was just next-level – so engaging, funny, and genuinely fantastic with the kids. Watching our two absolutely letting loose on the dancefloor, singing and giggling, was the best thing ever. The crew really do have a special knack for making every child feel like a VIP.

One of the things we love most about Parkdean, and Kessingland in particular, is that even when it’s busy, it never feels overcrowded. You’re never fighting for a seat, queuing forever for food, or getting squished in the pool. It just has this chilled-out, family-first vibe that’s so rare to find these days.

Speaking of food – there’s a good range on site, and everything we tried was tasty and well-priced. Plus, being so close to the beach meant we could easily pop back for picnics or a quick bite without wasting half the day trekking around.

Another huge bonus for us was how safe and secure everything felt. We could genuinely relax, knowing the kids had space to explore without us worrying every second. Plus, there are always friendly staff around if you need anything – nothing was too much trouble for them.

In short – Parkdean Resorts Kessingland Beach is a total winner. Whether you’re after full-on fun or peaceful beach days, they’ve got it covered. There’s just so much to do, and everything’s been thought out with families in mind. The memories we made – slime-covered hands, disco fever, and beach walks at sunset – are the kind that stick with you forever.

Massive shoutout to the Starland Krazy Crew for making every evening so magical, and to all the Parkdean team for creating such a welcoming, lively, and safe environment.
