“It’s a special place, but being here with Forest, I feel like it will be even more special.”
Elanga had been with United since he was a young boy and made 55 appearances, scoring four goals. He also has 12 caps for Sweden.
Ross Wilson, chief football officer, added: “Anthony had a number of excellent options in front of him to choose from so we are naturally delighted that from those he has chosen to become a Nottingham Forest player.”

He has previous Premier League experience, having played for Fulham on loan during the 2020-21 season.
“It’s exciting to be back playing in the Premier League. It’s the best league in the world and I always want to challenge myself,” Aina told the club.
It marks the start of a considerably quieter summer transfer window for Forest, after signing 30 new players following their promotion to the Premier League in 2022.

“He’s a versatile player who has good experience of the Premier League and Serie A,” said manager Steve Cooper.
“He’s a really good player, but a good athlete as well. He’ll definitely make the team stronger.”
