A few weeks ago, this fixture looked a completely different prospect.
The Gunners were charging towards an unprecedented Premier League title and Forest were plummeting. But football is never a linear equation.
Fortunes have changed for both sides. Forest have scored 13 goals in their previous five games and sit three points outisde the drop zone.
Meanwhile, Man City look set to win the title this weekend, as Arsenal are left wondering what could have been.
Regardless, beating Arsenal will not be a walk in the park. Arteta’s side have turned a corner this season and although they may have missed out on the chance to win the title, the character and resilience is the best it’s been for over a decade.
As Cooper’s side look to beat Arsenal and, depending on results around them, guarantee their Premier League status, we take a look at his potential starting XI.

2. Renan Lodi
The brazilian has become an unsung hero. Passionate about keeping the club in the top flight, dogged defensively and leaves everything on the pitch. Despite carrying knocks, he’s going to have a job on his hands keeping Saka quiet - but there’s confidence he can do this considering his current form. | Getty Images

3. Felipe
Arguably, no Forest player has achieved cult-hero status as quickly as Felipe. Truly a touch of class on the grass. More of the same from Mr dependable. | Getty Images

4. Moussa Niakhate
Not only have his pace and defensive qualities refreshed what was a leaky looking Forest defence, but his long throws make Rory Delap look amateur. This could be vital in getting the in-form Awoniyi on the score-sheet yet again. | Getty Images
