After a much needed first Premier League win in eleven games, Nottingham Forest travel to the Gtech Community Stadium with a renewed optimism that they can escape relegation this season.
With five games remaining, Steve Cooper’s side have put together a run of performances that culminated in a 3-1 victory against Brighton and Hove Albion on Wednesday.
Forest’s head coach has shifted to a back three, with wing-backs offering more in midfield and on the counter attack.
One of the standout performers has been Danilo. The young Brazilian signed a six-and-a-half-year deal in January and has begun to find his feet in the English game.
With the in-form midfielder celebrating his 22nd birthday today, travelling fans will be hoping he gives them another performance to celebrate.
Although Forest have suffered yet more injuries to Moussa Niakhate and Neco Williams, the starting XI will likely look similar to the one the ended the tie against Brighton.
Our reporter Max Scott predicts Cooper’s starting side:

5. Serge Aurier
Aurier’s experience helped keep Forest’s back-line solid against a free-flowing Brighton side. He energises the team and plays with a passion that Forest need in this relegation fight. He left it all out on the pitch on Wednesday and will need to do the same away from home today. | Getty Images

6. Harry Toffolo
Although he has had fewer minutes than most, Toffolo has shown he’s ready when called upon. Put in some strong performances in the absence of Lodi a few weeks ago and is always a supporting on the counter-attack. With Williams out, Toffolo will likely have to play on the right hand side. 7. Orel Mangala
Mangala has stepped up in recent weeks and has found his form at the right time. There have been glimpses all season but its starting to come together. Needs to back up Wednesdays strong performance with another in London today. | Getty Images

8. Danilo
Following a MOTM performance and Forest’s all important second goal against Brighton, Danilo has been in the limelight. Today is his birthday, so another goal or game-changing moment would hit the spot and be a great way to celebrate his arrival on the big stage. | Getty Images
