It seems like there was something in the water. The City Ground showed exactly why it’s known as the World Famous. Today’s victory not only secures Premier League for Forest, but makes it three consecutive wins against the Gunners.
Arteta’s side had much of the possession today but thanks to a truly solid defensive display, had no clear cut chances.
Yates, Danilo, Mangala and Gibbs-White kept Arsenal’s midfield from penetrating the centre of the park while Aurier and Lodi sheparded the wings valiently.
Taiwo Awoniyi continued his rich vein of form, which gives him the best goals per minute in the top flight and the City of Nottingham can party the night away.
