Built in 1189, Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem is nearly as old as the original Nottingham Castle.
It’s thought that the pub was established in the 12th century and has links to the time of King Richard the Lionheart, who is believed to have stopped there on his way to Jerusalem.

As well as being one of Nottingham's oldest pubs, it's also rumoured to be one of the city's most haunted too.
The inn is reportedly rife with paranormal activity with its Google description even referencing its resident ghosts.
